The 1TB 660P NVMe M.2 Internal SSD from Intel features QLC (Quad Level Cell) technology, which offers more capacity per NAND cell, enabling solid-state storage at more affordable price points. Moreover, it utilizes the PCIe NVMe 3.0 x4 interface that has a higher bandwidth when compared to SATA for sequential read and write speeds of up to 1800 MB/s and 1800 MB/s respectively. With a M.2 2280 form factor, the Intel 660P SSD is compatible with a wide variety of notebooks, desktops, and mobile devices.

Ample storage and VERY FAST data transfer. I installed my windows 10 on this drive and it has sped things up considerably even from my older SATA m.2. drive. Amazing. I haven’t had it long so hopefully it lasts a long long time. I’m hoping not to need to do any more computer upgrades for at least 6-9 years after spending way too much $$$. 🙂

The Intel 2TB 660P M.2 is not the fastest NVMe but it’s great for back up and the price is really good. Reads at 1831.8 MB/s, Writes at 1950.3 MB/s. Is much faster than a SATA SSD and it runs cool.

Pros: Good price for a 1tb nvme ssd. Speeds comparative to some Samsungs by minuscule differences. Able to load/boot Win10 Pro simple enough. Cons: Compatibility problems with this and MSI X570 Motherboards. Drivers conflicted with others and caused some BSOD. Some have no problems; this is reflected off my own experience regarding MSI motherboards.

I take a lot of photos on the road. My laptop had a tiny 512GB drive and I would hang a 2nd 1TB SSD off the back of the screen. With this 2TB drive I have more internal drive space available than my former setup. And it’s faster than either former drive. Installation was easy. It doesn’t get better than this.

Needed to upgrade the ssd on my Mac Pro trash can. Used an adapter after upgrading to Catalina and dropped this in formatted to Catalina via usb install. Works like a charm even with hibernation. Perfect solution!
