The 1TB 660P NVMe M.2 Internal SSD from Intel features QLC (Quad Level Cell) technology, which offers more capacity per NAND cell, enabling solid-state storage at more affordable price points. Moreover, it utilizes the PCIe NVMe 3.0 x4 interface that has a higher bandwidth when compared to SATA for sequential read and write speeds of up to 1800 MB/s and 1800 MB/s respectively. With a M.2 2280 form factor, the Intel 660P SSD is compatible with a wide variety of notebooks, desktops, and mobile devices.

I got it on discount (115$) , did not disappoint me .Great product for a great price, This review is coming from someone who always buys Samsung SSDs and the best way to descripe this product will be buy this if you are not buying a samsung SSD

These particular SSDs buy intel were purchased for the Asus Dominus extreme motherboard the VROC key I’m here to tell you there must be a trick to it because nothing I tried with this combination worked The SSDs themselves are not as fast as Samsung SSDs this was purchased with a pacific Goal In mine never reach that goal

I installed it in a Dell laptop that had a empty M2 socket; then cloned the operating system. All was working fine until Dell came out with a Bios update. The updater software apperantly got confused with the extra opperanting system and bombed the computer. I probably should have removed the M2 before doing the update. Anyhow, I solved the problem by removing the M2 internal HD and returning the computer to Costco.

Great as a secondary back up ssd! Does what it’s supposed to and is fast enough as a secondary drive. You will be happy. Just buy it.

So much seamless memory for a good price.

For your average home-user, this is the best SSD you can get, when factoring price, performance, and quality. I have had no issues since I’ve installed this in my laptop. If you’re not dealing with huge file sizes, don’t waste your money on other SSDs

Can’t get these Intel 660p units to work on a Highpoint RAID controller. Mushkin do. I’ve tried two different computer systems, two versions of the RAID controller.. and these 660P modules just want NOTHING to do with operating in any manner other than single NVMe in a single slot. Good price and capacity, but very limited usage 🙁

Great Value for the capacity. I use these for data storage, and they are fast.
Jayson Cummerata (verified owner) –
Fast, Quite, Stable, and a great buy for the money.

Moving from a spinning disk 7200rpm SATA drive, this thing moves GB around like my old disk moved MB. Love it and super easy to install.
Lyda Dibbert (verified owner) –
Not as fast as other NVME drives but also costs less than some SATA drives. Great value

I installed and loaded an image of my previous Windows 10 program and copied data I had previously stored on an external SSD. All seemed to work well for a while. Then, when running System Mechanics, I got the dreaded BSOD. One of the routines it ran was defrag. Apparently, it’s unnecessary to defrag a SSD, but I don’t recall that being a problem with the original 1TB SSD I had in my Dell XPS-15 (9550). I also got the BSOD when loading System Mechanics version of Malware Killer. Since I installed the new 2TB drive after my Dell warranty had expired, I got support from a company called Reimage Technologies who found and correct the hidden files the defrag process. That cost about $150. I also contacted System Mechanics. SM updated my software (maybe all?) so that it will not attempt to defrag an SSD. I have not loaded the Malware Killer program either as System Mechanics (or Windows Defender) seems to catch malware without a problem. The 2TB SSD is now running pretty good now. I say pretty good because I did get the BSOD again (can’t recall exactly how), but restarting the computer seemed to solve the problem. Otherwise, I like the new SSD. Having the extra space for lots of photos and videos is great.

While not the fastest you can buy, it is by far the best bang for the buck! With R/W speeds in excess of 700MB/s it more than satisfies my needs.

For the price you can’t beat these M.2 SSDs. If you are just using it for a boot drive, programs and game storage then it’s perfect for you. The QLC style will only affect you if you plan on continuous file transfers day after day or some type of video/photo editing. For that type of workload spending the money on a faster drive with a greater total file transfer per life. For gaming and boot drives save yourself the money and order one. Currently using 2 of these 1TB for boot drive and programs/program data and the second a 2TB as a game storage drive. Saved about $200 buying these drives compared to other popular options.

For an Alienware Aurora Computer for video editing it’s fast and reliable

Great drive. No issues to find and activate in Windows 10. Good price.

Using it a Lenovo P1 workstation as a 2nd drive for storing my photos. Not the highest performance M.2 SSD out there, but it works great for my intended purpose. I can keep all my photos on my laptop and just use an external drive for backup.
