The 1TB 660P NVMe M.2 Internal SSD from Intel features QLC (Quad Level Cell) technology, which offers more capacity per NAND cell, enabling solid-state storage at more affordable price points. Moreover, it utilizes the PCIe NVMe 3.0 x4 interface that has a higher bandwidth when compared to SATA for sequential read and write speeds of up to 1800 MB/s and 1800 MB/s respectively. With a M.2 2280 form factor, the Intel 660P SSD is compatible with a wide variety of notebooks, desktops, and mobile devices.

I couldn’t possibly come up with a valid complaint about this. For the price differential between this and the Samsung EVO Plus, I’d pick this in a heartbeat every time. The Intel 660p is QLC, but I can’t imagine I’ll have so many read/writes onto it that I’ll ever approach a failure state. Highly recommended. Thanks B&H for providing international shipping options 3

I’ve had SATA SSD for several years in all our home PCs, and this is my first experience with M.2 NVMe. WOW what a difference. My Win10 boot time is 15 seconds and disk reads/writes of large video editing files are quick. I have not compared to other NVMe disks, but I’m impressed.

Installing this in an LG Gram was a breeze. It pops right in, works as fast as you expect an SSD to, and works exactly as expected after the OS is installed. Easy choice, especially for the price.

The price is right when it is on a sale and it performed flawlessly with my MSI Z170A GAMING M5. I am getting close to 1800 m/s read and write speed, which was tested with crystaldisk. Make sure to slot in the primary m.2 slot to get your best result.

Installed on a dell xps 15 9570 I been using the ssd for over month and not had a problem but one star off for a little slow on reads and writes.

I purchased 2 sticks of these 2 TB NVME for my laptop. Intel is a brand that I can trust to keep my data safe . It is blazingly fast. My Windows 10 laptop boots up in less than 7 seconds. It is a “no brainer” Purchase to add 4 TB of OS and Data super fast storage to your existing system for only $440 USD. The delivery service from B&H is also Super fast. I also liked the fact that B&H put in lots of protective layers in the delivery box. I shall buy more stuff from B&H again coz I can trust them on keeping my purchases well protected .

I am happy with my purchase, good price, good brand and no issues so far…

The Intel 660p is a value SSD. It doesn’t have the sustained endurance performance of the more expensive drives, like the Samsung 970 Pro, but it’s easily capable of 300-500MB of sustained writes before slowing down to a crawl. When it returns to its steady state and the write buffer clears, its speed returns. Outside of the first time you transfer data to the drive, you won’t notice a slowdown, and even then only if it’s from another SSD. All in all for the price it’s difficult to not recommend this drive.

Was planning on buying SSD SATA cards when I read about Intel’s 660P SSD. The price was lower and performance higher. Using one for the OS and a second one as my media drive. Installation is simple, plug in, attach one screw, add heat sink if it is included with motherboard. If you are looking for the latest storage solution at a great performance price point when compared with other SSD you should give this a look.

Blazing speed performance. Really nice for a small footprint. It does get a little warm over extensive use.

Installed easy using Acronis Restore mounted on a USB stick. Replaced a Samsung 1TB with this 2TB Intel. Price of this device is why I bought it but Samsung has a better/faster SSD.

Been using this product for a few weeks now with no issues. Works as advertised with the M.2 slot on my motherboard. One nice thing about this SSD is that it’s very flat, which came in handy when installing my Radeon 3500 GPU in the PCIe slot above it, since it juts out over the SSD with no issues. Also, the SSD does not come with a retention screw, so make sure you still have your screws from your motherboard or find a replacement.

My first nvme. Pc boots in 10 seconds and everything is super responsive. Couldn’t be happier. Thank you B&H for the great product and fast shipping.

I only wanted this for supplementary storage for my Lenovo Thinkcentre 720q Mini. Installation of the SSD was simple, easy and quick. No additional parts are required. Just slide off the PC’s top cover, slide off the bottom cover, slip the SSD into its slot at a slight angle, and then a blue pull/push tab snaps into the hole at the other end of the SSD to serve as the retainer. As commonly occurs, the SSD did not show up in Explorer at first, so I had to initialize/format this new SSD. No instructions to do so are included, but a Microsoft Windows 10 site provided the few steps to do it. This, too, was easy. (I’d never done it before.) If you want expanded internal storage, this is a good way to get it. B&H’s price was good as well.

Love the ease of installation in my Dell desktop, replaced my HDD and got 10x the drive speed!

This is a reasonably fast NVME SSD for the price I bought it at. There are faster ones out there, but this gets the job done. I would buy another one.

Havent had any issues with it, its pretty fast 🙂
