The 6′ DisplayPort 1.2 Cable with Latches from IOGEAR is suitable for Ultra High Definition (UHD) resolution connectivity from a DisplayPort-enabled PC or laptop to high-resolution displays. Supporting DisplayPort 1.2 specifications, the cable delivers resolutions up to 4K x 2K (4096 x 2160) with full 7.1 multi-channel digital audio. The cable features 32 AWG copper wiring that is fully shielded to protect against electromagnetic interference (EMI) as well as radio-frequency interference (RFI).

Some Display Port devices and cables do not seem to speak the same language so its always good to try another cable or another port if things don’t work right.
