The 1.4 specification also supports high-resolution display bandwidth of up to 32.4 Gb/s with 8.1 Gb/s per lane. In addition to hi-end visuals, this cable supports full 7.1 multi-channel digital audio (32-channel, 1536 kHz sampling rate).
