I needed an option for sync/charge of my 4th gen iPod Shuffle (yes, still in use!). This fits the job perfectly, allowing me to connect the very short original USB2.0 3.5mm jack to both Shuffle and an available USB-C port on the front of the Studio (rear-facing USB-A ports were already occupied and awkward to get at for daily use with my desktop setup).

Works great! This thing will live permanently on my computer until I have no USB-A devices. So indefinitely.
Chelsie Dickens (verified owner) –
I leave this on my computer all the time and it doesn’t get in the way and looks nice.

New computers have USB 3C or Thunderbolt. Use this to connect USB 3 and earlier thumb drives and accessories.
