The bundle from IOGEAR comes with the 4-Port HDMI KVMP Switch along with two HDMI to DisplayPort adapters, allowing you to directly control up to four computer systems with HDMI or DisplayPort outputs using a single console set. The KVMP switch connects to the computer systems with four supplied KVM cables to deliver audio, video, and input-control signals to your monitor, USB keyboard, USB mouse, and headset. The included adapters let you convert two of the four KVM cables into a DisplayPort connection, so you can use this switch with DisplayPort-enabled products. Aside from these connections, the switch sports two USB 2.0 ports for connecting printers and external storage devices to these systems.
The 4-Port HDMI KVMP switch offers front-panel switch buttons as well as software-based hotkeys to let you quickly switch between your attached systems. It supports HDCP and DynaSync to eliminate delays or changes in video resolution while switching between or booting systems. For easy installation, it is Plug & Play compatible with a wide-variety of operating systems. Moreover, the switch is outfitted with a port that lets you upgrade its firmware to support the latest technologies.

I have had no problems with Pearstone HDMI cables. Since I use a laptop and move around to various second screens (Once you go dual, you never go back!) sometimes the 3 footer is just not long enough. So I just bought a 10 foot Pearstone cable from B&H to handle the problem. I still use this cable for the short runs.

I first spoke with B&H Photo tech support regarding using this with Lorex NVR. They thought it should work fine and it did. Quite happy with this KVMP, I have 3 Surveillance recorders hooked to a 24 monitor, mouse and speakers. Saves a lot of space and the expense of a monitor, speakers and microphone for each recorder.

I had some questions as to whether this would work with Surveillance Recorders. Support at B&H Photo advised that it should and it does. Saves a lot of space when you have multiple recorders or PCs. I wouldn’t have had room if I had to have 4 monitors, keyboards and mice.
