The DVI-to-HDMI Adapter from Iogear is a digital video adapter that has a female DVI-D Dual Link connector on one end and a male HDMI connector on the other. This allows you to connect a DVI source into a HDMI-compliant device. Simply plug the male HDMI connector into a HDMI-compliant device and then connect a DVI cable to the DVI-D Dual Link female connector in order to relay the digital video signal.

This adapter is working well and has been completing every task it was designed for, however the bulky design causes difficulty when trying to access nearby ports – this minor flaw is something to watch out for but by no means a reflection of poor performance by the product

What can you say about an adapter. It works fine.

The cable is great for what it does. I received it on time just like most of my previous B & H purchases. I need to find a way to move my DVD Player forward and away from the wall for about 12 inches for my DVI cable and this adapter to connect and sit perfectly to the back of the player.

Item arrived quickly as works as expected. Making my life more comfortable working from home!

The male extender is too short therefore unless you push it in and hold it in, it will not work.

Attempted to use the HDMI port on a 2013 Mac Pro to output a signal to a 30 Apple Cinema Display (DVI, 2560 x 1600 pixels) via the adapter. IOGEAR advertised it as supporting dual-link DVI, but OS X was unable to detect the full resolution of the monitor, instead displaying a maximum of 1280 x 800 pixels. Either the signal was altered or the adapter is not truly dual-link DVI (even though it has more pin holes than single-link).Probably this adapter would work fine on typical HD resolutions, but disappointing nevertheless.
