Description
The USB Type-C to HDMI Multiport Adapter from IOGEAR provides you with three additional ports for your USB Type-C equipped notebook: one USB Type-C power pass-through port, one HDMI port, and one USB 3.0 Type-A port. The USB Type-C power pass-through port supports up to 60W of power, allowing you to charge your system while it’s in use. The HDMI port is used to connect an external display and supports resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz. Lastly, the USB 3.0 Type-A port lets you connect devices and peripherals such as keyboards, mice, and even flash drives, supporting data transfer rates of up to 5 Gb/s. Thanks to its Type-C interface, this adapter is also compatible with Thunderbolt 3-equipped systems.

I have a 2017 MacBook Pro without Touch Bar. I bought the adapter for use with it. However, for some reason, whenever I connect it and am using the USB A portion or sometimes even the HDMI port, my laptop will drop connection with the Wifi. The moment I disconnect the adaptor from the laptop the wifi returns almost immediately. I used the adaptor made by Apple and that one works fine with my laptop. Unfortunately this issue started after the warranty period so now Im stuck with it.
