It’s okay, wish it had more power though- it cannot supply enough power to some of my devices, so I still end up having to swap things in and out of my MBP

The first impression after opening the case is that it looks and feels very solid. Love the stainless steel. It looks great, works great, a nice little device.

This hub is a joke. If I could test it, I would check to see if the transformer was working, because it is so underpowered. It won’t even properly power a wireless mouse. Cannot recommend this to anyone.

Good unit, not frills, just does what it says.

My Imac just didn’t have enough USB ports and this did the trick.

I have a Mac with 4 USB 3 ports and a Thunderbolt Dock with 3 USB 3 ports, but I still needed a convenient location with powered USB 3 ports for frequently used devices such as iOS devices and thumb drives. This fits the bill perfectly. It conveniently sits on top where it is easy to plug & unplug devices. It has a small blue pilot light that confirms that it has power. It will work without external power in an emergency if the devices that are plugged in don’t demand much power.

I had to keep unplugging it when I added a new device, so it would start up again. It worked fine once it recognized the new device. Meh.

If you need a port hub make sure it has power. No signal loss.
