As America’s favorite brand of reverse osmosis systems and backed by ISPRING’s industry-leading customer support, the RCC7P-AK is unequaled in quality, performance and durability. The system consists of 6-stage, layered filtration built around precision reverse osmosis (RO) technology that removes over 1000+ different kinds of contaminants in order to provide the best home drinking water filtration available. It features a 75 Gal. per-day capacity RO membrane, which is larger than most in its class and provides the capacity to economically handle the drinking water needs of even a large family. The RCC7P-AK model of the ISPRING RCC7 line of products is equipped with a booster pump for situations where inlet/house water pressure is low – below about 40 psi. After flowing through the initial 5 stages of the ISPRING RCC7 line of Reverse Osmosis filtering products, the RCC7P-AK model also adds another Alkaline Remineralization (AK) stage. This stage is designed to restore the natural alkalinity and mineral balance of the water. The RO process effectively generates pure water but it also removes a few helpful minerals in the process. The red mineral stone portion of the AK filter adds back healthy minerals including not just calcium, but also other beneficial minerals, like magnesium, that other systems don’t. The calcite portion of the filter neutralizes the pH of the RO water. And the water tastes better too.
- Reverse osmosis requires high water pressure to force the impurities out of the water. RCC7P-AK’s extremely durable electric booster pump ensures high efficiency, reliable and consistent performance regardless of pressure variations; delivering the highest performance for an RO system with less wastewater
- High capacity reverse osmosis water filtration for safer, healthier water. This under sink mounted water filter and water softener removes up to 99% of over 1, 000 contaminants, including lead (removes up to 98% of lead), chlorine, fluoride, arsenic, asbestos, calcium, sodium and more
- The RO membrane removes not only harmful pollutants but also a few helpful minerals. As a result, a standard 5 stage RO system produces slightly acidic water with a pH of 7. 0 or below; the ISPRING RCC7P-AK includes an additional sixth stage – an Alkaline Remineralization filter that restores healthy minerals and produces a balanced alkalinity, which gives the water a more natural taste than regular 5 stage RO water
- Premium quality components ensure the highest reliability and low maintenance for many years to come. Clear see-through 1st stage housing makes filter inspection a snap
- For indoor use only. Extended Manufacturer Warranty upon registration, support at 123filter.com, Alpharetta GA

The toughest part of adding this system to our home was deciding where to put it. Once we agreed on a location, it only took about 15 minutes to hook everything up. Works great and the water tastes great.

I purchased this system as we moved to Arizona where water is hard. I was doubtful about purchasing any RO system as I was not sure whether it will work and give an expected taste. Due to the return guarantee, I went ahead and purchased the iSpring system. It got delivered on time. When I opened the box, it was a big puzzle and I was not sure if I will be able to complete assemble in 2 hours. I followed their instruction and checked online youtube video. You won’t find the exact model number video but will get a quick idea of what needs to be done. It will be great if iSpring makes and keep the updated video for each model and puts a sticker with a link or QR code for the video while shipping the box. I was able to figure out how to assemble and then put the system underneath the kitchen sink but it was not working so I called iSpring but it was after hours as they are Georgia based. I got a call from their support person the next day and they quickly helped me in fixing the problem which was a faulty plug underneath the sink. iSpring recommends throwing the first batch of water but I will recommend throwing at minimum 3-4 batches. Even after that, you will feel the taste of water a little different, and water will have a lot of bubbles. If you let water sit for some time(almost an hour), you will feel taste better but this will happen only for the first day or maybe two. After this, there is no need to wait and you can consume water immediately. It is now more than 2 months we are using this system and no complains.

Good affordable RO system. I have had it installed for just a few days. Took my TDS meter to the water before and water I installed the RO system. Before I had 680. Now I have under 50. Had to talk to Nick @ iSpring on a couple of fittings I needed. Huge help. Seems like a good affordable RO system. Was a pretty easy install. I had to install a demand pump as I put my RO unit about 80′ away from my faucet…

Purchased this in January and extremely happy with this system. Also extremely happy with Customer Service. Would certainly purchase again. My son installed with ease and helps me not to have to purchase bottled water any longer.

I live in Orange CA, and even though the city reports say they water is healthy for drinking, it tastes terrible. I also just don’t trust these reports very well these days. After having a faucet mounted PUR filter for years, I got sick of trying to locate and find a good price for the expensive filters. They wouldn’t last long and the water didn’t taste much different than the tap water anyways. I picked up a TDS and PH meter set online and did some testing to find that the source tap water here is 305 PPM and 7.77 PH. Knowing I needed something good, I finally decided on this system and have nothing but positive things to say about it. I also got the ice cube maker line kit which was well worth the extra few minutes of install time. The instructions for this system seemed complicated at first, but it was extremely easy to install. I live in an apartment and was lucky enough to already have a hole in the counter top for the faucet, but if I didn’t, you can bet I would have built a nice wooden box for it. Because I am not supposed to do any modifications to the apartment, I bought an extra pipe for under the sink, and I also ran a low profile extension cord to the system from the top of the counter since the outlet under the sink is on a switch for the garbage disposal. The cord itself was routed by cutting off the outlet, and simply attaching a new one after it was pushed through the crevices under the counter top. The system itself is mounted on a homemade board with brackets that I can easily slide out from under the sink for service. When I relocate, this system is coming with me and the landlord will never know it was ever here. As far as system performance goes, my ice cubes are clear as day and no longer leave debris in my cups. Some reviewers mentioned they can hear the pump, but it is so silent that I do not hear it at all unless I open the cabinet and get next to it it. The water tastes absolutely amazing, and the PH is in the mid 10’s with a PPM of 39. After talking with customer service about the numbers, it was indicated that the alkaline filter was probably dissolving a tad too much and PH should be lower. I spoke with Richard through email, and he was extremely polite, helpful, and fast to respond. He sent a new alkaline filter which arrived very quickly and made the system produce a PH of 9.25. PPM restarted at 27 and continues to rise indicating the alkaline filter is actually doing its job and adding the good minerals back into the water. I am stoked at how awesome the system performs, and the customer service of this company is top notch! Kudos to Richard!

This product was a challenge to put together. I had to hire a handyman to install it. It took him almost 3 hours to complete it. The videos were a big help. Afterwards we had leaks on top of the tank. Had to disassemble 2 times to get ithe leak stopped. It took myself and another handyman to fix the tank leak. Finally got it stopped. Now it works fine and the water is the best I’ve ever tasted. No more weekly bottle water purchases. It will pay 4 itself in a year. (Worth the struggle)

Our city water smells and tastes bad. Though I installed a whole house water purifier which filters most of the contaminants, the taste only improved marginally. So I decided to go for a RO systemI considered Home Master and iSpring RCC7-AK and was wondering why the Home Master one is more expensive. The only thing that came to was water wastage due to the pump. So I choose this model iSpring RCC7P-AK, still $50 cheaper than Home Master. I was a bit hesitant, but decided to go with it. Boy, am I happy with my choice!Installation- Took about 4 hours for me (I am novice and this is my first plumbing job)- This includes the time I took to replace my current faucet with a combination faucet first (didn’t want to drill hole for a new faucet)- Installation instructions are very detailed, but very wordy (more pictures would help)- I also watched the youtube videos which gave some tips- I did not have enough room under my sink, so had to set the tank in horizontal position- One tricky step is you need to drill a hole in your drain for waste water from the RO. I have a PVC pipe, so it was easy to do this. If you have a metal one, it could be a bit difficult- Overall, It was a smooth process. Only thing that went wrong was one of the tubes leaked. I had to remove and fix it properly (my mistake didn’t push it far enough the first time)Water taste- Tastes amazing!! Better than any bottle water I have had- My wife and I love the taste. We are on a 4-liter water per day habit forming and drinking my tap water was so hard. Now I am looking forward to drinking water every day

So far I just love my new water system, it was worth the investment. The taste of the water is much crisper, and cleaner. It feel good to have good water to consume. My house is on a water softener, and drinking the water wasn’t good for my family. So I would purchase water, and water filters. But they wouldn’t remove the salt, but this system does. And it does a great job at cleaning the water. Now I don’t feel like we’re consuming good, healthy, water. The only thing I didn’t like was the installer had to remove the white garbage disposal drain plug. I’m not sure, but yeah I see that causing me a problem down the road. But otherwise the installation & install was great. And the installer was fast, great job. And homedepot is awsome.

The first day of use, water came out cloudy but cleared out on the second day and has been clear ever since; water tastes great with the added minerals. It took my husband about 2 hrs to install it; it’s the first filter he ever installs so it wasn’t that bad at all, he just followed the instructions.

Took about 2.5 hours to assemble. First time turn on, there was a leak at a connection. But I let it run for a bit and the leak stop. I’ve been checking every couple days, and so far no other leak. I also bought a water testing device, the filtered definitely did a good job. However, I wish the design could be more effective. It took so much space under the sick. I noticed there are newer, nearer design from other brand (check out Costco), but I already pull the trigger on this one, otherwise I would try the one from Costco.Would I recommend this one? I would recommend trying both, this and others from Costco.

Such a huge difference with drinking pure water from this system. Aside from the smooth texture and taste, an additional benefit of having the iSpring Reverse Osmosis system is for our Shrimp/ Fish tank hobby that requires the highest quality water with optimal PH and Low Total Dissolved Solids (TDS). TDS from City water reads about 270 ppm+. From our iSpring system, it’s less than 20 to 35 ppm! Yes, RO water removes negligible amounts of calcium from the water but also removes harmful nitrates and bacteria which are toxic. There are Pet stores actually sell their purified water for about $.50 cents a gallon, so we have saved literally hundreds of dollars by having our own system that supplies our family and pets the highest quality amazing tasting water you can find. You’d spend a lot more on bottled water that still has been found to contain other ingredients like : magnesium sulfate, potassium chloride, arsenic, Potassium chloride, cadmium, nitrate, lead and salt. By the way… Magnesium sulfate AKA Epsom Salts or Bath Salts is for bathing in, not drinking. Personal phone support from Nick and Dan are second to none. They have always been there to help make sure my system is optimized. I must have done several days of water purification research before choosing iSpring and years later have been more and more impressed with their products and support. Go for it, from every angle, you’d be hard pressed to find anything better!
