We have well water in our house and it often has a sulfur smell and a bad taste to it. Most of my family won’t even drink it. Since we installed this filter the water is clear and tastes great with no smell at all. I installed it in the basement with a line going up to the included faucet in my bar and another line feeding the water and ice maker in the kitchen fridge. With the pump we get good flow even with the long distance between filter and faucet.

Gross leaking from RO membrane cap/housing joint due to poor design. My guess would be the o-ring under the cap slipped out during tightening. Apparently the RO membrane and enclosure should have been designed as a single assembly.

Easy maintenance! I’m writing this review for those who may be concerned with maintaining their iSpring filter system. I purchased a house that had the system already installed and have to admit I was intimidated with the thought of maintaining it myself. I’m completely novice when it comes to plumbing and pretty much just capable of sticking my head under the sink. All I can say is have faith that the system was designed for people like me, and was totally doable. The hardest part was just figuring out which replacement filter went where, but connecting the little hoses is not bad as long as you know how to do it properly. Just youtube the videos, pay attention and you will be fine. After doing it once, I am certain I can now replace all filters quickly and painlessly. Another point of interest: I noticed a little moisture that seemed to come from the unit itself and not from the connections. For this I contacted the technical help at iSpring and they were fantastic. They quickly determined what I needed and express mailed it to me. And once again, I replaced it with no problems at all. A few days later Josh, the iSpring technician, followed up to make sure everything went okay. Even though I did not initially buy this unit, you can tell they really cared that I continued to be delighted, which I am. I removed more glowing words from this review because I don’t want this to sound like an add – just know that I’m a real person who is honest in my delight. My family and I love our iSpring filtration system and highly recommend it.

After we had our system up for two months one of the pressure switches stopped working, which meant the whole system stopped working. After calling Don from customer service they shipped out the new switch the same day and now the system is fully funcitioning again, providing great tasting water.
