The 5.25 to 3.5″ SAS/SATA 6.0 Gb/s Hot-Swap Cage from iStarUSA creates additional space for hard drives with hot-swap capability. This series supports RAID 1/0/1+0/5 configuration for high performance or redundancy data application. A high density multi-disk storage backplane allows multiple 3×3.5″(88.9mm) SAS/SATA hard drives to be mounted into 2 standards 5.25″(133.35mm). All-aluminum construction provides superior heat dissipation required for high-performance SAS/SATA drives, while a 2.75″(70mm) fan provides excellent front to back vent airflow.
