Stay focused with the EVOLVE 65 UC Stereo Bluetooth Headset from Jabra. This headband-style headset features a noise-cancelling microphone for clear communication as well as Bluetooth 3.0 for wireless connection with your mobile device. It features dual connectivity, so you can connect to your computer and mobile phone simultaneously. The EVOLVE 65 UC Stereo Headset is optimized for Unified Communication systems, providing instant “Plug & Play” installation for your headset. The headset is compatible with most vendors of Unified Communication systems. It employs digital signal processing (DSP) to digitally optimize the user’s voice and suppress echoes, and has a built-in “busy light” to alert your coworkers that you do not wish to be disturbed.
With built-in NFC, pairing your mobile device is easy: Simply tap your device against the side of the headset and you’re ready to go. When not in use, the EVOLVE 65’s midi microphone boom arm can be easily stowed with a small magnet in the headband. It comes with leatherette ear cushions, a USB charging cable, and a soft pouch, as well as the Jabra LINK 360 USB Bluetooth 4.0 adapter to make your computer Bluetooth-ready. The EVOLVE 65 can be used for music as well as voice.

Easy pairing with both desktop pc and phone. Comfortable. These are for office productivity and not high end music listening. Work very well for phone calls and online meetings using either Bluetooth or USB.

I was hoping for something closer to the older-style Plantronics headsets that I could use for all the time I’m forced to spend on Zoom these days. I wanted it to be comfortable to wear, with good audio (input and out), and easy to use with both a phone and a laptop. The headband doesn’t conform to my head well. It’s comfortable but loose-fitting, even on my large dome. The audio quality is good; I can hear people well, and they can hear me well, and that’s what kept me from returning it. The on/off switch is in a bad location and hard to find by touch. There’s no volume control on the device itself. To pair with a laptop, you have to use Jabra’s little mini-dongle, which ties up yet another USB port. I’ve been happy with other Jabra devices in the past but this one feels like it didn’t get attention from their better engineers.

The best sound, battery life and range… only things I would change is having something to keep the headphones in place. It seems when I look down it starts slipping off. The other is how to mute and unmute the headphones. You have to hold down the volume button for a few seconds to unmute yourself. In a ZOOM meeting where you have to quickly unmute, it delays the process a little bit. Of course these two things I would change are not deal breakers which is why I gave this item 5 stars. I’m sure the headphones are slipping off because they are not too tight on the head (which can be uncomfortable for long periods) and holding down the volume button to mute/unmute is probably to prevent accidental muting and unmuting… overall great purchase!

Comfortable, high quality headset. Sound quality is very good (‘tunneling’ distortion has occurred only with a dying battery), noise reduction on speaker arm is highly effective at reducing/eliminating background noise. Ability to connect to both computer & mobile (and also use for media, which defers to phone use) is nice and works well, if not always flawlessly (occasionally have to manually connect or disconnect from Bluetooth). Integration with MS Teams is a nice feature – unit can be used to easily make and receive calls from computer when using the platform. Connection range is solid and allows me to walk away from computer or phone without audio degradation (although, as should be expected, connection deteriorates at longer distances or out of sightlines, particularly with masonry or metal obstructions). Battery life has been strong (definitely more than 6 hours of active use at a stretch), if not quite as long as advertised. (I can get through most of a work day; happily the unit can charge without losing its connection. If charged when not in use, battery charge is not an issue.) All in, a meaningful and appreciated add to today’s WFH environment. Worth the premium relative to other headsets.

Good product, clean connection, decent range. I asked people on the other end they say the noise cancellation is pretty good. If you have a beard, you may find the mic a bit ticklish.

I’ve been using this headset since March, and have been extremely impressed! I have it paired to my computer via Bluetooth, and to my Polycom desk phone using the included USB dongle. The audio quality is fantastic, both speakers and microphone. The directional microphone cuts down on all of the background noise that comes with working from home. When I’m not in a meeting, the headset’s speakers are perfect for listening to music. The charging dock is super convenient and helps to ensure that the headset is always charged and ready to go, while not taking up much desk space.
