While I have only had this machine for a short time, I am extremely happy with it. It arrived sooner than the expected date, which was a great surprise and it was packaged very well. I love that I can have the needle end in the down position – that is probably my favorite feature! The instruction book that is included with the machine, offers options and good tips as well as how to use each function. I highly recommend the Janome MOD-200 sewing machine!

It’s a pretty decent machine. Isn’t super loud but also shouldn’t be considered quiet, it does have some issues with the stitches skipping and not doing the correct stitched even as simple as doing the zigzag stitch. But I do really like a lot about it as well. There’s a ton of stitches programmed and definitely have a lot of cool designs. Moved quickly and is easy to change the bottom stitches bobbin. I’ve even been able to use thread that was meant for an overlock machine but it works just fine on here! Pretty much love it. Just has a few issues that pop up with the weird stitching. But maybe I’m using the wrong kind of needles.

I love,love my new Janome sewing machine! Surprising that it is on the quiet side, and one thing that this has that my other machine didn’t was controlling the speed!! Love it! I had a Singer at one time and the needles I have work fine with this machine and also the bobbins, so that was a nice surprise . Also Home Depot had a very good price for this machine! I always check for prices.
