This compact Janome sewing machine is a great choice for both the experienced sewist and the young enthusiast. If you are looking for a robust sewing machine, this is not it!It is great for light sewing or kids sewing because it is a slower speed and pretty easy to use. My 6 year old loves it! She is a beginner and this is perfect for her!I originally bought it as a backup for me in sewing face masks, but this machine cannot handle the multiple layers of fabric. It is a great little machine for everyday sewing.

It’s a pretty good machine.Does not do well with heavy fabric like denim but you should expect that with an inexpensive sewing machine.Bottom line is it’s useful for a lot of smaller jobs and sure beats doing everything by hand.
