Designed for comfort and clarity, this headset features memory foam over-ear pads and an adjustable boom mic with auto on/off and mute functions. In addition to the mic, the left earcup also houses user controls for hand-on adjustments. Internally, the JBL Quantum 200 boasts 50mm dynamic drivers, delivering a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz. In addition to supporting the Windows 10 and Xbox One surround sound features, this headset is also compatible with Mac, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, mobile, and VR platforms. This Quantum 200 comes with a 3.93′ audio cable and 4.92′ PC splitter adapter, as well as a windshield foam to cover the mic.

I have had this since August and I did not know the headphone jack was at an angle but I stuck with it and it just broke today which I was not happy with at all but before it did sound pretty good.

It is a very comfortable headset to wear for extended periods of time and the feature of the mic going mute when tilted upwards is very useful. One thing I noticed was that the cable makes noises that can be heard through the headset as you move around. It either needs the cable to be more rigidly connected to the headset or maybe some sort of lubricant to stop it from making slight creaking noises. Overall, it is a very nice headset.

I have these headsets for a year now and I finally have to retired them today. What separate brands like JBL or other companies that specializes in audio hardware compared to gaming headset is that these companies makes great sounding headphones. These quantum 200 has better sound quality and better bass than all of the high end gaming headsets that I had over the years. The sound quality on these headphones are so good that you can game, watch movies and listen to music with clarity. Now this is where these headphones needs to improve. The mic quality is not the greatest. There are moments where I am gaming with friends and at times they will tell me they have a hard time hearing me or my mic sound is too low. Next thing these headphones can improve and this is the main reason why I have to retire them it’s the durability. The plastic on these headphones are fragile. I accidently drop the headphones for the first time and the adjustable part on the right side snapped leaving the right ear cups hanging loose from the headband. Also the sound on the right side is now dead too. Overall these headphones have great sound quality, but handle them with care because they might break. In conclusion I don’t mind buying these again.

Everything about this headset is good, besides the build quality which is trash. One day I stretched it out to put it on my head and it cracked, and later on just broke off. I would suggest buying a headset with a metal frame instead of plastic. and coming from jbl I expected better

I’ve only had these headphones for a week but they have already impressed me! I bought them for my online classes and they are comfortable enough to be worn for hours at a time. They cover my whole ear, which helps block out a lot of the noise and the audio comes in clearly with no static or feedback. The mic is great because it flips up to mute and picks up speech well. I’ll be keeping these long after I finish school given they last, which I have no doubts they will.
