This item was intended to be used for guests to sign at our wedding, but unfortunately it never made it to the location (at no fault of its own of course lol). It was easily sanded, but it did require several coats of stain (being craftwood, it soaked it up pretty quickly). Once completed, it looked really good. Since it wasn’t used as the guestbook, it will now most likely be used as a base for our Christmas wreath for the front door.
