I’ve owned this product for a few weeks now. This is a substantial, heavy and well built drill press. I feel no play in the quill when it’s extended, unlike on cheaper drill presses. Very smooth operation with low vibration. This thing is tall when sitting on a standard height bench. I’m 5’8″ and I needed to build a raised platform on the floor to make it comfortable. The head assembly is heavy so you will likely need a helper to mount it, as I did. It helps to mount the head with the column in the horizontal position and then tip the whole thing upright. Overall this drill press met my high expectations.

The overall quality of the drill press is excellent. The only negative comment I have is relative to the table. The slots in the table do not go through the entire table, thereby making it difficult to attach a larger wooden drill press table to the cast iron table.
