I have small welding shop. Been here over 40 years. This is the third band saw like this I have had in all these years. For the money , you can not beat it.I

I’ve had one of these for over a decade. It’s been used to build A LOT of DOM truck bumpers, various mild-steel projects, cut rebar, plastic, aluminum, etc. You can straddle it and sit on the base when you are trimming odd-shaped pieces, or let it cut by itself and shut itself off when completed. It’s not the most high-precision cuts, (you might find it a little bit crooked when cutting deep pieces of tubing), but every shop needs one of these.

This bandsaw runs smooth, and directions for assembly were easy to follow. The portability is handy.

My Dad really likes this saw. He removed wheels and foot pads. Installed casters so its able to move around his shop.

We use this as our main bandsaw in our fabrication shop. We use it to cut everything from steel plate, roll cage tubing, aluminum tubing, stainless, etc. It works great in both positions and the last shop I worked at had the same model. They to used it as their main bandsaw for over 3 years of everyday use with no problems.Luke

I’ve used the saw about three weeks and gone through two blades. The one that came with the saw got dull quick and the one I replaced it with broke (bosch blade). Now I’m on my third and still learning how to tweak the adjustments, could be my fault still learning. Other than that I like the way it cuts.

I have been a machinist for over 25 years, this saw works great for the price. I use it at home for welding projects. I had commercial blades made for it and made a new table top because the one it came with was flimsy, but still, I highly recommend this saw !

Have had the saw for a little over a year now. Its a very decent saw for the price you pay. Cuts fairly accurate considering the way the guides are made and how close they come together. The frame is definitely shakey from being made out of what looks like 14ga. sheet metal. Could’ve easily been made more heavy duty for just a few more dollars by the manufacturer. But they try to make these things as affordable as possible for the consumers. The table they give you to turn it in to a vertical saw is basically useless. I’m a machinist welder by trade. So I used the table they supplied the saw with as a template, and made myself one out of 1/4″ S.S. Made a world of difference when cutting metal out vertically. Also the automatic shutoff switch. I had to make myself a heavier tab that comes down to turn saw off when a cut is complete. machined one myself out of 1/8″ S.S., and works like a charm now. The one they supplied was very thin and cheap and wouldn’t work most of the time. Also be careful when your wheeling it around, tends to be very top heavy with the cheap frame it sits on. Had it flip over on me one day wheeling it around shop, and bent motor frame . Luckily I was able to straighten it out. My solution to this, was strap a bungee cord over the end of it while wheeling it around. Overall at my home shop, it has done everything I needed it to do and some! I would definitely recommend this saw to someone for home shop use, and one buy one again today if I had to. Just wish they would’ve made a little bit heavier duty support frame.

Very pleased with the new bandsaw. Instructions on putting it together made the task simple. Very sturdy. Clean cuts.

Saw arrived in good condition albeit a little late. No missing parts and went together well. Made a few test cuts to break in the blade and it cut smoothly and accurately right out of the box. If it runs as well as it went together it will be an excellent saw. Time will tell

I’ve owned this saw for twelve years and the only gripe is the stand rear legs. After a few years the legs started to bend where the wheels mount. I added a couple braces for added support and no more issues. The saw cuts true, so true there’s no need to check for square on non critical cuts. I’ve cut everything from aluminum to stainless steel. Using the correct blade for the type of metal is the key.

Instructions weren’t the best but with a little common sense you can get it together. Buy a new blade, the one that it came with busted after about 20 cuts.

Went together easily, easy to adjust, cuts well. The only issue is a poorly manufactured blade. It jumped every time the joint came through, and broke on the second cut.

The product performs great, easy to set up and easy to operate, have already worn a blade out. Jet is the way to go.

Buy a new blade immediately. Other than that, its great. Adjustments take some time if you need a angular cut, but it’s expected with the cheaper versions of these tools. I’d recommend this product to anyone building a workshop.

The stand is not a sturdy as I expected but is adequate.

These types of band saws are amazing. I’ve had another brand prior to this one. This one is certainly better. It was ready to go right out of the box and I didn’t need to adjust the blade for perfect cuts. I usually do not trust the angle meters on these types of machines, but after squaring the materials clamp with the blade, it was spot on. It was also spot on at the 45 degree mark. Although this is a simple matter, it speaks to the rest of the saw and to how it was constructed. I’m very pleased with it.

Had a screw or two missing, but easily replaced at local hardware store since screw description was in instructions. Definitely need two people to set up. Would be nice if it sat a little higher. Other than that, works great!!! I bought an extra blade as a result of several reviews I had read before buying. If you set up everything properly, it’s not really needed. I’ve been cutting all kinds of metal up to 1 1/2″ X 1 1/2″ square tubing 3/16″ wall thickness for a couple of weeks now and you can’t tell the blade is even worn at all… So, great saw for the money!
