- Large 10 in. x 12 in. infeed table assembly extends the support area and can be used in either horizontal or vertical positions
- Multi-position blade guides enhance use in vertical position by increasing the throat capacity from 4 in. to 8 in. and creates a safer working position
- Tool-less quick lock vise with preset mitering positions at 15°, 30° and 45°
- Improved height and width of stand with built-in storage cabinet and chip tray
- Micro adjustable tool-less material stop for accurate set-up and repeatability

- Blade drive is a belt to sealed, hardened and ground gear drive system

This is a quality saw, I asked a question about it having a coolant system and they answered no. I looked up the model number from the mfg. and it did have a coolant system. My only dislike is that all 4 wheels are fixed and it’s hard to turn

Despite the specification, I had to grind / file the blade guide frames to allow them to retract enough to cut a 12 inch wide piece. For $ X thousand dollars you shouldn’t have to modify it.

I’m and Engineer who likes to build what I design. Just finishing up my first big project with this saw. I am finding it to be a good quality saw like all other jet products. This saw takes the place of two pieces of equipment. It is both a vertical and horizontal band saw. It’s wheels make it easy to move out of the way when not in use. A big plus in my garage. It has an easy crank operated clamp mechanism with angle adjustment. Blade drop feed speed mechanism works well and is adjustable. Clamp adjust so that multiple items can be cut at he same time. Work feed stop insures that all cuts are uniform. Auto cutoff electric switch lets you walk away while it is cutting heavy metal. Adjustable flow liquid blade cooling and lubrication system Coolant reservoir holds 2.5 gallons and shuts off when level falls below 80%. Works on standard 110 volts house current so no special wiring is required. ships in a wood frame packing crate, so the product arrived without a scratch. Glad I spent the money and bought this better quality band saw. I feel like I got my moneys worth. I have not found any shortcomings with this product. I am completely satisfied with this product and the whole purchase experience. This saw would be a good purchase for a medium to small commercial fabrication shop or any home shop. It is a commercial grade piece of equipment. Having it shipped directly to my local Home Depot store saved me the $130 in shipping I would have had to pay from anyone else. Veterans discount saved me money also. I did a lot of research and shopped around, this model Jet was the best saw that met or exceeded my needs and Home Depot was the best deal out there.
