This is a great stand but the cup holder allows metal filings and/or dust from grinding to get into my coffee.

Extremely well made and strong.

Assembly was easy. The stand is rugged and heavy enough to handle my 1 hp grinder. Seems like it will work out well for me.

Heavy duty, easy to assemble and solid as a rock when sharpening blades using the Dewalt 8″grinder I mounted on it. An excellent stand a great value.

Bought the JET Pedestal stand for my new 8″ JET grinder and it fit well. holes lined. very heavy and sturdy cast iron, Even the tool try and cooling bucket are cast iron. Cut the stand to my height in 5 minutes and put together in 10 minutes. worth the money.

Perfect fit for bench grinder also heavy enough that it lets you work and doesn’t move around.

This is a very sturdy stand. I use it as my sharpening station next to my lathe, and it is perfect. I will be adding a larger base with locking casters so I can easily move it around. I would buy this again.

Well built and heavily constructed, this stand could easily go for more money. good value.

I’ve put a Yost 6″ vice on it. Plenty of weight to maintain stability.

should be stable and strong enough for even a heavy bench grinder or perhaps another type of bench tool (with aux table mounted to existing top). Center pipe can be cut to put your tool at any height. This is my third stand.

Overall the stand is built very robust, my compliant is the packaging, a very weak cardboard 20 inch by 36 inch package, contents weighed 53 pounds and held together with a single plastic band. The contents were scattered all around in the ups truck, the bottom of the box was destroyed There was no instructions or warranty information sent with this stand. Come on JET you can do better than this

This was purchased for a Rikon 8″ low speed grinder. The stand assembled easily and the grinder attached easily. The column is sturdy. While a previous reviewer (not HD?) indicated he had to drill & insert the bottom (foot) screws from the inside of the column for stability, I didn’t find that to be necessary. Following the simple instructions resulted in a highly stable grinder stand. The stand includes a tray and water cup. The slotted holes in the top were fully adequate for the Rikon grinder. I judge that the holes would fit many, if not all, bench grinders. If you want separate tool rests, you would have to install a sheet of plywood, etc. on the stand, and attach the grinder through the plywood to the cast iron top. The feet have holes to attach to a mobile base, if desired.Bottom line, I would purchase this again.

Although shipping was apparently delayed, the pedestal stand is well constructed and heavy duty. Currently in the process of bolting the base to a 3′ x3′ plywood foundation to decrease the likelihood of the unit getting knocked over. Just a little more stability.

Top quality, easy to assemble, fair price. Just what I wanted

I purchased the stand and like it enough to buy a second. The quality of the second one was much less. The stand still functions as designed; however the cooling tank (cup) was so poorly made it had a 1/4 in hole in the bottom. Just goes to show you there is a lot a variability in the quality of this product.

stand went together very easily and my grinder fit well into existing holes in the top. still need to make a movable base for it but it appears to fit my needs well.
