The heavy-duty 1-horsepower 8 in. Variable Speed Industrial Bench Buffer is engineered with a full casted body. This bench buffer is loaded with safety innovations. The exclusive motor stop will reduce RPM speed from 3,600 to 0 in less than 20-seconds bringing the buffing wheel to a complete stop.

Does not come with a light, that’s an option, otherwise great unit. Very smooth and the 3 settings are a nice feature. Quiet operation, far less than I imagined it would be. You can buff and have a normal conversation, I can’t imagine needing ear plugs. Wear eye/face/hand protection at all times when using this buffer!Comes with 2 cotton wheels, one stitched the other not; sure sure which does which but assuming that the stitched one takes off more material and therefore rougher.

This thing is a beast!! Totally worth every penny. Having the ability to work from 900rpm and up has improved my final polish on projects!! Well made and heavy!! Downside is the light is sold separately. Highly recommend!!

I really like the buffer and would give a 5 star rating to it alone but was disappointed that the light was not included with the buffer as shown in the picture. Also, the two buffing wheels that came with it are poor in quality. For such an expensive device, I would expect that higher quality accessories be included. I really like the variable speed feature. That is the main reason I chose this model. It allows me to use a wire brush wheel on one side at slower speeds and buffing wheels on the other side at higher speeds.
