Constructed with a cast-iron frame, this 14 in. band saw is fashioned with the sturdiness and rigidity usually reserved for large shops. JET brings this pro-style element to your home shop, where a quiet 1 hp motor supplies ample cutting power with 3000 SPM maximum blade speed. This machine can accommodate large pieces of lumber up to 6 in. thick while vibrations are kept to a minimum courtesy of computer-balanced wheels that enable precision blade tracking. This model is designed with a closed stand, which allows for a larger table and easier cleanup.
- Table is cast-iron constructed with a 15 in. x 15 in. offset surface area and able to tilt 45° right or 10° left
- Built-in dust-collection hookup is compatible with 4 in. Dia hoses
- Accommodates blades between 1/8 in. and 3/4 in. wide (sold separately)
- Single knob tracking adjustment simplifies the blade tracking process
- Micro-adjustable lower blade guide reduces set up time and makes adjustments easier
- Graphite impregnated polymer blade guides with roller bearing thrust guides provide quicker set-up and a cooler running blade

Arrived in two boxes on a pallet. One box contained the base and the second contained the saw with the blade installed. The table was not attached. Assembly and setup was straightforward and documentation easy to follow. The saw is solid, quiet and can be set up for nice precise cutting and resawing with the Kreg fence that I also purchased for this saw. I have only had the saw for two weeks, but have resawn several 6 inch by 5/8 inch pieces of walnut and about 3 dozen 6 inch by 1/8 inch pieces of cedar with a half inch Wood Slicer blade plus a few test pieces using the 3/16″ blade and 1/4″ blade that I got for the saw. This saw has met all of my expectations.

$800 seems like a lot for a band saw until you see how rugged this thing is. Not only that, but it’s easy to adjust, and has better adjustments than cheaper band saws. Things like the replaceable vinyl blade guides that can be adjusted inward as they wear. Everything is smooth and heavy duty and adjustable. We bought two of these for our Scout troop and they work so much better than the cheaper ones we had that we can’t believe it took us so long to decide to get them.

Very easy to assemble and set up. Unfortunately when I removed the base assembly from the box I noticed the box had damage on the corner which transferred to a bent corner on the base and chipped paint. Recommend opening at store as the packaging is not robust enough for shipping from KOREA.

Saw was delivered to store in good shape. Assembly and set up were straightforward. Did all the unpacking and assembly by myself, but the saw is heavy. Fit and finish are very good. Operates very smoothly. Blade that comes with the saw is average at best (not a surprise). Cuts well but leaves rough finish.
