While I was one that simply opened the doors and put the fans on full blast to clear a room, it never seemed to work as well looking back, there was always dust left over. Nowadays, even with the most demanding tasks going on in the shop, the Jet 1000 clears the shop in minutes. You barely hear this running, except at the top speed and then, still it’s nowhere the decibels of ANY tool you have. 3 speeds, delayed shutoff, remote control and you can buy replacement filters (12×24) at any home store to fit. It is quite shocking to see how much and how quickly the external filter cakes up. Apparently I am breathing much easier at night and not keeping someone else awake!

The air filtration system works great in my wood working shop. I have a 30×30 room and it works well in the area. I especially like that I was able to hang it up out of the way in the center of the room, and able to turn it on and off with a remote. Also being capable of setting it for desired lengths of time makes it more usable and I don’t forget to turn it off or run it more than needed. A great product and making the air better means alot, especially when my kids are out there with me breathing the air.

Purchased 1 month ago.High speed mode clears shop fast but it’s noisey, but hey, its a shop.I leave it on low and it takes longer to clear the shop but works fine.After reading some of the negative reviews I was hesitant, but it’s well worth the money

Jet…. Air Filtration System This system is without a doubt one of my best investments so far my garage/shop is about 450 square feet so this filtration system is a bit much for my garage at 550/702/1044 CFM 3 Speed remote control. This unit circulates the air in my garage several times per hour even on the lowest setting my dust control system works great I just needed something to pick up then very fine dust and this unit gets the job done no problem. I run it all the time I’m cutting wood or sanding and then for about an hour when I’m done it filters out the finest dust and is very easy to maintain it does have a timer for 2, 4 and 8 hrs I am very happy with my filtration system it is a great product and I highly recommend it.

I absolutely love this air filtration system. Well constructed. Very quiet for its size. And it picks up many more saw dust particles than I thought were in the air. Originally, I thought about getting a smaller unit from a different and cheaper manufacturer. I’m so glad I didn’t.

I have now purchased several air filters over the years and have come to the conclusion that this unit is the best on the market for the cost. I own a small cabinet shop and use these units all day everyday. They are fantastic. Not terribly loud yet still powerful enough. I go back and forth between a washable filter and the cheapest furnace filters depending on what I’m doing for a few weeks. My only recomendation is buy an extra pleated interior filter and replace it every so often. Clean it as frequently as possible. It really makes a big difference

I installed the Jet air filtration unit in my garage wood shop, centrally hung from the rafters. I have a Delta dust collection system, but it wasn’t picking up the finer particles from sawing and sanding. I work with exotic woods and the dust can be extremely dangerous to one’s health (I use a respirator). I was tired of breaking out a shop vac all the time and cleaning up the dust off tools, wood storage and storage cabinets. My shop is a two car garage and I have noticed that most of the dust is now captured in the filtration unit. I also needed to cut down on dust before spraying nitrocellulose lacquer. (I use explosion proof fans and filters in the spray booth.) I now have a clean environment for my projects, and recommend the Jet unit. Plenty of suction and power to do the job for me!
