Hope to get plenty of use re-sawing lumber. Made a saw platform to wheel around my garage/shop and will rewire (optional) for 220 volts. Highly recommended for the serious woodworker. Fence and mitre NOT included.

It’s a dream come true to have such a nice band Saw. About 40 years ago I studied fine art and sculpting, and the studio I worked in had a nice band saw. Ever since that day, I dreamed of having one of my own, and this jet fits the bill completely. I did buy brand new blades right off the bat for this, and it saws with such ease and precision that I am very impressed. It cuts wood nimbly and silently and cutting out shapes or straight lines is easily accomplished. I really can’t find anything bad to say about this saw. Super happy with it. Like the jet so much actually that a week latter I bought the reciprocating spindle sander to go with it.Both orders came faster than anticipated and everything was packed well and damage free. Definitively will buy from HomeDepot again, since the prices are very competitive and the shipping is free.

Smooth operation, the blade that come with it is junk. Order a Timberwolf. I use a 3/4 inch blade and the Kreig Fence with the extra micro control screw. It’s heavy and takes 2 people to assemble.
