Amazing suction I ran 6″ PVC with 4″ PVC y fittings for my duct work. I have a small 2 garage shop this single stage with the cone system makes it just as good as the more power full double stage units at half the price highly recamend. They could have made the legs mor stable. I also recamend the remote start it’s a must if you have multiple machines.

Once put together, it’s a little great unit, 4.5 stars, but the assembly process what quite a bit worse. The biggest issue was the atrocious threading on the screw holes. For mounting the flange on the impeller, the threads weren’t formed and I had to buy a m6 tap to get the screws to fit.

This machine was purchased to replace a beat up relic that I bought used (well used) a few years ago. The old one would pull dust away from sanders, my table saws, bandsaws and other tools that produce dust, however it left a lot to be desired when it came to tools that produce chips, like the router table, jointer and planner. My new jet has plenty of power to spare where these bigger tools are concerned. The assembly went well also. I have been upgrading some of my tools for the past year and have purchased other items from JET, such as an air filter, scroll saw, combo belt/disc sander and a planner, I have been well pleased with all of these purchases.
