This is far more machine than you can realize, The lathe is A/1 the best yet for Jet yet. The old machine we had was a piece of junk.

Started using right out of the box love the variable speed feature, on my old jet I had to change the belt every time. Love this lathe!!

The lathe, though small, packs a great punch. Runs super quiet and very smooth. I am glad to have purchased this lathe but I wish money spread a bit farther and had been able to purchase something larger just in case.

The lathe is working out great. It packs a very powerful motor and does not bog down. Everything is well balanced and you can tell it was designed very well. I was very impressed with how easy it is to change speeds. I wont be needing another lathe b/c does it all.

Very quite, great to use

Will perhaps want something with more capacity. But a fantastic lathe

This is an excellent, easy to use lathe. It has adequate power (1/2 HP) for my purposes. A bed extension is available for longer pieces. The adjustable speed control means you don’t have to change belt positions very often. Cons are 1. No rpm meter 2. The spur center tends to get stick on the spindle- eall takes a major whack to release it.

No problems so far. Good lathe for small turning. The only complaint I have, is that I wish it had a speed readout.

This little machine runs nice and quiet. Turns very true. Make sure that you order a nova or oneway chuck with 1”x8tpi to make completing projects easy. 1/2 hp is plenty of power for the small size machine. No regrets here, i love this thing.

The variable speed motor is a must, and for an extra $100, it is a great deal. I have had zero issues with this lathe and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an easy to operate tool.
