The best part about this saw is the blade change process. Our exclusive upper mechanism clamps and tensions the blade in one step. In addition to the upper mechanism, the toolless lower blade holder is removable and the table features a slot for the blade. The features don’t stop there: this saw offers 22 in. of throat capacity and an arm that tilts 40° left and 45° right. This saw is designed to optimize your scrolling experience. From the variable speed range to a top lift, spring loaded arm it comes fully loaded with all the features you’d expect.
- Upper blade holder clamps and tensions blade in one step (patent pending)
- Removable lower blade holder snaps quickly and securely in to place
- Large 12-7/8 in. x 23 in. cast iron table provides a stable working surface while also limiting vibration
- Slotted table for easier and quicker blade changes
- 22 in. throat capacity
- Arm tilts 45° right and 40° left, keeping the work table flat for more accurate cutting
- Integrated blade storage features slots for pre-loaded blades and a built-in wrench for changing blades
- Blade storage can be positioned on the right or left of the machine
- Top lift, spring loaded arm raises 10 in. and stays up until pulled back down
- Removable dust port on underside of table to collect dust at the source

This is a top-of-the-line scroll saw. Quiet, smooth operation, solid construction and a clever easy way to swap blades Too bad after I ordered online and picked up at Home Depot, the stand was not included. I had to contact Jet and have the stand sent separately. 3 trips to HD to get the order done.

Was purchased to replace another brand. I owned the other one for 8 years and did not use it much, because I did not like it much. I used my band saw with 1/8th inch blade as much as possible, just to avoid the old scroll saw. I have had my Jet for a few months and just completed a project that allowed me to spend several hours using this saw. This saw is a huge step up from the old one and worth every dollar spent. I will be using it much more in the future. The 2 most noticeable improvements are much less vibration and the hold down works much better. The blade changes are very quick also and there are a couple of adjustments that I did not have on the old machine.

Ive used several other brand scroll saws, cheaper ones. The last one i used had so much vibration my hands went numb for a couple weeks (granted i did HOURSSSS of cutting). I was afraid i damaged the nerves in my hands permanently.So i decided to try a better saw. HOLY COW IM GLAD I DID! There is barely any vibration, it cuts so smooth and its super quiet! The changing of blades is super quick and easy!!! I didn’t even have to read how to change it or watch a YT video. And if a woman can figure it out.. guys this should he cake walk for you. I make toys for my rabbits so im loving this!The only 2 negs i can say about the saw is it doesnt have a light and the blade guard kept loosening when I was doing very angled cuts. No big deal, if i have to, I’ll add some tape to keep it from slipping. Tho it could be my fault, im worried i will over tighten it. So who knows lol
