The best part about this saw is the blade change process. Our exclusive upper mechanism clamps and tensions the blade in 1 step. In addition to the upper mechanism, the toolless lower blade holder is removable and the table features a slot for the blade. The features don’t stop there: this saw offers 18 in. of throat capacity and an arm that tilts 45° right and 30° right. This saw is designed to optimize your scrolling experience. From the variable speed range to a top lift, spring loaded arm it comes fully loaded with all the features you’d expect.

Positives; rugged, quiet, easy to switch blades, air blower to keep saw area clear of dust, variable speed, powerful, large table. Overall a ‘keeper’.The floor stand ( purchased separately) that was recommended for this model, didn’t really fit. Holes did not line up. Had to drill my own holes to attach saw to floor stand.The tubes containing replacement blades do not really fit the attachable saw-blade holder that came with this saw. The holder sets too high on the saw. The diagram that came with the saw appear to be of the larger saw model.

Very quiet. No vibration at low speeds. No or very little vibration at high speeds if bolted to a heavy work table. Comes preassembled. Pleasure to use, couldn’t be happier. Be mindful of the table surface. Doesn’t scratch easy, but if you trap dirt between the table and work piece, it will scratch the surface due to the downward pressure and constant movement of the work piece – but that’s the case with any coated table top.

Saw came assembled, except for the feet and installing the blades. Large smooth table. Variable speed and controls are smooth and easy to operate. MY last jet scroll saw was almost 35 years old and this was an extremely pleasant surprise at how quiet and smooth as compared to my old saw. The blade change and tension lever is very easy to use once you get used to it the first time. The blower tube is very handy and works well on the fine scroll dust. I did not get the foot pedal, but suggest that for anyone doing a lot of fine work; I plan to order one myself. The tilting blade arm and upper release are very handy. I recommend this saw
