Takes a little time in order to be absolutely sure and accurate, but with a little patience it does the job inexpensively.

Great for finding studs, never needs batteries and always dead on for center of the studs…

I love this stud finder. It’s the easiest ever. I’ve tried fancy electronic stud finders and I just don’t get it. This stud finder easily finds the studs and most importantly has the built-in level. Perfect!

it is lite weight, but small, will most likely work ok with open area projects.

I had never used this but always wanted one. I found the instructions to be minimal. But once I put it to the wall I quickly figured it out.

Most lay people need something simple. This fits the bill. Sad that hd is not carrying something as simple as this. unless your doing this constantly, a $10.00 stud finder is not elevant.

Works better than all those expensive models. Probably why they’re not carried in stores.

This is a good product and money wise its really cheap and does its intended purpose. Magnet is small, so you have to work a bit more to find the metal.

This is NOT a wood stud finder but a METAL finder. If you want to find wood, get an electronic stud finder. But if you want to find metal, this unit works great. If you need to drill masonry, this thing will pay for itself on the fist hole. nothing is worse than drilling a hole in masonry to have it hit a section of rebar. It’s also a reliable way to find metal pipes in walls. I can’t say how many times I have opened a wall to find a large metal vent pipe running to the attic. Just level it and slide it in any direction across the surface when you see the indicator twitch, you’ve found the obstruction. Also the unit is compact, lite and requires NO batteries. If you find any other good uses for this finder please post them.
