The vials are properly aligned and and do not fall out contrary to some brands you find around in HD/Lowes/Ace. My only complaint is the rubber band. It may be good for 4×4 or 6×6 PT, but it’s too wide for 2×2 aluminum posts. Wide band leads to loose touch with post and less accuracy. Had to replace them with tighter bands.

I installed a fence at my place and needed a post level for just this job. This little level did the trick nicely. I don’t recommend using the rubber band on it, just cut that off. If you are in the fencing business, this isn’t your level. But if you’re like me and only need this for a quick one time deal, this is a great buy.
