Straight, accurate, marked legibly and durably by laser etching through black enamel. Arrived with a small dent on the 1/2 – 1 scales edge, but that obviously happened at the maker’s or packager’s shop, and is of no functional consequence. If you’re tired of cheap printed-on scales that wear away in a few months, or inaccurately made decals pretending to be precision scales (are you reading this, Starrett?) then this tool is for you. I just wish more measuring tools were still made this well.
