WORKED GREAT; LIGHT WEIGHT AND VERSATILE IN THAT ONE FACE READS FEET AND INCHESAND THE OTHER READS TENTHS OF A FOOT. MAKES IT CONVENIENT SINCE ARCHITECTS WORK INFEET AND INCHES AND ENGINEERS AND SURVEYORS WORK IN TENTHS.

I’m sure whoever wrote the description for Home Depot couldn’t reconcile the scale with 10ths, so they assumed it must be metric. It’s not. They should fix that. Check Johnson’s website to see that this part number has feet/inches on one side and feet/tenths on the other.Like everything from Johnson, this is a solid piece of equipment and a good deal for the money. Very handy that it has both common scales.

THE NUMBERS ARE EASILY SCRAPED OFF. THAT WOULD BE THE ONLY THING I WOULD CHANGE.
