Great product for the price. Choosing between this one and much more expense units was tough, but I would purchase this laser level again. My wife and I are in the process of building a home ourselves and we have used this to locate our leach field, find the elevations of our foundation and I plan to use it to enlarge our pond.Pros:Self levelingEasy to CalibrateDecent RangeCons:Tripod is flimsyAdjustment Screws are soft and easily strippedLimited functionality

i think it is a great level especially for the price it does the same job of the more expensive ones but it does feel cheaply made it might not last long around a jobsite but for occasional use it is great

Well packed in the case and very suitable for home use. Not as robust as a commercial laser level but has all the same features. Very pleased with it.

We have used this level to set tile, paint lines, and grade the backyard, although the case with contents were a little intimidating at first lol, it is very easy to use, the hard case is a great touch, I wouldn’t recommend “Throwing” it in the back of your truck, but if it got tossed around, it is protected

Level seems well built and with the wide range of the self leveling feature is very easy to set up. The tripod is not real robust but lightweight and easy to set up. The included basic receiver works well but has a fairly wide “level window” which is fine for my uses but probably not if you need very precise elevations. If that’s the case the upgrade kit with the same head but more precise receiver, heavier tripod and longer staff might be better. A nice touch is the staff is marked both imperial and metric.

I am leveling my batter boards that will mark my foundation site. I found this tool to be simple to use. The laser is powerful and can be read easily on a cloudy day or in the sun when using the laser detector and goggles. It is important that you check the calibration before using on the job. I could easily calibrate the horizontal beam. However, the calibration for the vertical beam is extremely confusing. The manual could be better written. I wished there was more on the web about it.

This laser leveling kit works great. I used it for leveling a lot that I am building a home on. It made checking elevation very quick and precise. I was able to level within 6″ over a 5000 square foot area with a bulldozer.

Laser level works great. Good price on a quality piece of equipment.

Worked in bright daylight with receiver at 100’+ in two directions while running a drainage pipe. Line became visible as the sun went down at this distance. The line is visible around a basement room for the installation of a drop ceiling. (much more clearly visible with glasses.) I wish there were different tones for high and low from the receiver but was not a deal breaker. It still worked as long as you visually checked the receiver.

Feels a little bit too fragile but, seems to work well. Not really use to such light weight, it doesn’t feel like a solid strong piece of equipment.

Excellent, inexpensive with everything in one case.

I bought this to paint horizontal lines in a bedroom. This made it so easy. I marked the lines around the room and then taped and painted. This is a very easy self leveler to use.

The rotary laser does a great job. I love that everything you need comes in the case (stand, tripod, receiver, laser). Its great to just grab the case and go. My only problem with this unit was i made the mistake of receiving it and started using it immediately. I used it to transit footing heights for a job and found out after the fact that it was 10″ OFF OVER 50 FEET. Needless to say this screwed my job and materials up big time. It is not super hard to calibrate but i would 100% recommend you calibrate before using. Besides that, unit seems to work great and is nice for one man operation.
