I purchased this for use in a high school classroom environment. So far I have found it very easy to use for myself and for my students. In order to learn how to use it we did a few calibrations and tests which came out largely positive. We found that it was not quite as accurate as we were hoping for in terms of linear distance accuracy, but then again our tests were pretty short distances (about 40 ft).
