The unit provides a rice bowl and three stackable transparent baskets that make it possible to steam three different types of food simultaneously. Other highlights include a turbo steam feature that starts cooking within seconds, a drip tray for collecting liquid, as well as stay cool handles. The water level can be checked at any time, and refill is easy even in the middle of steaming process: Just add water through the side handles. Best of all, the steamers removable parts clean up easily by hand or in the dishwasher, and the base wipes clean with a damp cloth.

I’m very happy with this steamer; it was bought to replace an old one, different brand, that gave out. This one has more space than most, with steamer baskets that are BPA free. It’s easy to clean, and comes with instructions for removing hard water scale that can build up, which worked well. The dial timer lets me choose the time exactly, which I prefer. The drip tray is also well designed. I haven’t had it long, but I use it daily and it’s working perfectly.

Love it! I cooked small family portions of 3 vegetables at the same time in 12 minutes. Slowest cooking veg on lowest next to heat source, mid cook time in middle, fastest cook time in the top tray. Cook times are a bit longer than their chart says & you have to stack the tray numbers correctly.

Had to replace my Black & Decker that I had for almost 20 years. It was very basic with just one steaming basket and a dial timer which was fine for me since I only used it to steam vegetables or 2 cups of rice. Couldn’t find anything comparable except for the Kalorik and I am very pleased with it. It steams faster and the baskets are BPA free. Never steamed eggs before so I gave it a try in the Kalorik and they came out perfectly cooked. I find myself using it almost every day. Home Depot.com had the best price and free delivery.
