Has provided a very reliable connection so far. I have not seen a single glitch or noticed any lag. This cable has been functionally indistinguishable from a 1m-long VESA-certified cable. I am using it for a display at 3440 x 1440 @ 144 Hz, which requires HBR3 (High Bit Rate 3, introduced in DisplayPort 1.3). The cable is fairly stiff, but not to an extent that makes it difficult to run. I actually appreciate it being not too easy to bend excessively, since that’s bad for optical cables. As an added bonus, the connectors have the nicest latches of any DisplayPort cable I have used. The buttons have a satisfying mechanical click and are much easier to press than the plastic tabs that most DP cables have, but at the same time, they hold securely and the connectors don’t wiggle when plugged in. I previously tried a similar-looking optical DisplayPort cable from another brand which couldn’t handle the bandwidth and gave me visual glitches and black-screen flashes, even though it claimed to support a resolution requiring more bandwidth. This KanexPro cable explicitly specifies HBR3 support, and it does indeed work perfectly in my experience.
