The level comes with our PATENTED Plumb Site Dual-View vial which provides the user the traditional side view of the plumb vial and the unique ability to view plumb from the front, making it easier and more accurate to read along with eliminating neck and eye strain.

I really like this 24 in. Samson I-Beam Level with Plumb Site. My old 24 in. level has been banged around and used hard for a long time. It had gotten to the point that its accuracy was not good, so when I saw this one I figured it’d be great for my purposes. I checked it against my very accurate 48 in. level and it reads the same. I especially like the “Plumb Site” which allows me to see the vertical bubble straight on without having to get my head around to the side. Very Nice! At less than $20 I don’t think you could go wrong with this level. It has good “bumpers” on both ends, and a handy hole for hanging. The “handle” cutout is contoured and lined with polymer (plastic) making it easy to hold onto. While it doesn’t have a 45 degree bubble, that’s not a necessity for me since any work I do requiring one is small, and the torpedo or protractor work just fine. I just wish it was made in USA.

Really like this level. Easy to use and the plumb site line is great too. I have included a picture of the plumb site as well, as i think its a unique feature we don’t have on our other levels making this stand out for the price. The only thing that is missing with this level is a hook on the end like my other levels to hang on the wall nicely. Bubble is easy to see.

I really like the value of this heavy-duty aluminum level. It is well constructed and appears it will last a long time. I had some before not near as nice and strong as this one and also cost me a lot more. Even the vials are covered to protect them. I tested it out by comparing it to my neighbors expensive contractors level, which he is is a professional and the Samson was accurate just the same. I would recommend this to every home DYI person.

When leveling a vertical object, such as a post, this level has a mirror built in which permits viewing the vial from the front. This does not interfere with the side view of the same vial. In all other respects this level functions the same as most other quality 24 inch levels. The ends are protected with rubber bumpers. If it is necessary to stand the level on end, the bumpers are easily removed. It also has a nice ergonomic carrying handle built-in.

KAPRO SAMSON 24” LevelBright red paint so you can’t misplace it and a sturdy aluminum body. This has the heft and sturdy build that should hold up well under heavy use. The bubbles are easy to read from both side viewing and straight on viewing through the window cut outs in the aluminum face. I compared accuracy of the level against two other’s I own and have I trusted for years. This Kapro read identically the same for horizontal & vertical readings. It has a unique viewing window when looking at the vertical bubble when you are viewing straight on. This could be handy if you are unable to view from the side or don’t want to twist your head around to look at the side view you can read from the front. Note: Be careful removing the green sticker material highlighting the special viewer. It leaves a lot of adhesive behind and I damaged some of the plastic using “Goof off” remover.

I got this 2 foot level as a short quick easy to use level that changed my mind about inexpensive levels. It is very well made the machining on the aluminum surface is great. All the level sites are easy to see in light and dull light situations such as a crawl space or basement. The thing that really makes this level great is the cut out window for using it as a plumbing tool, you don’t have to look from the side and move the work around when plumbing something. You look through the window to see plumb from the front of the level. I sure hope this comes in a 4 footer too.

24 in. Samson Contractor I-Beam with Plumb SiteThis is my new go to level. It is beautifully crafted from heavy duty aluminum and has a solid, confidence building feel to it. The vials are crystal clean and precisely marked. The ends are protected with polymer caps that will help keep this level in service for years to come. The neat new feature I have already used several times in tight spaces (see photo attached) is the dual-view vial that you view from the top edge. This feature has been a long time coming in the field of bubble levels. The top edge viewing bubble is also very useful and user friendly.

I LOVE this new level. I have always had a plastic or vinyl one before. This lightweight aluminum just feels more concise. A special benefit is viewing the level both from the side and from the edge. Typically, one would have to “crane their neck” to see the side reading. But reading thru the edge simplifies the process. My husband has a full set of tools, but this i my household level. Put to work with hanging wallpaper, artwork, etc. Proud to own it

This by far has to be one of the best levels I ever worked with. I definetly like the capabiltiy to read throught the level when vertical rather than tilt my head. IT also makes it easier to read in tight places. The quality and ruggedness of this level is excellent. This is a level for a pro user and contractor. I aslo like the cability of the 45 degree angle tube level.

The Samson Kapro, #170-81-24 two foot level is an excellent measuring tool. The two foot level is compact enough to carry and draw a straight line as and for measuring level and plumb readings. I especially like the 45 degree window on the plumb side that shows you where or not the wall is plumb or not! The two rubber end bumpers are tapered inward so the level accuracy is not affected while using the level. I also like the open view port on the top side of the level that shows level line bubble. I like to fact it has an aluminum body so it will not rust when used outdoors. This is a handy level to use and own!
