This is a very nice anodised aluminum ruler and it very well made. The material is thick and not easily bent. It is definitely worth the price of purchase. English/Metric graduations are on both sides and the measurements start at the flat end so that there is not a space that has to be accounted for before the measurements begin.

Unlike the cheap wooden yard sticks, KAPRO Anodised Aluminum Rule is thin, strait, waterproof, break/cut-resistant, and no slivers. On one side, inches with 1/16″ tick marks are on top, and millmeters/”millimetres” are on the bottom, up to 900mm; vice versa on the other side. Length, area, and volume conversion information printed in the middle. Has a hole for hanging.Only complaint in that it is made in China; would be nice if made in USA.

The numbers and increments are painted on and are already starting to rub off. This is the end where they put the sticker. The sticker left a sticky spot so I cleaned with alcohol and the numbers wore off. I have had another made by empire for years that is inches only and it shows no signs of wear at all. I need the Kapro for the metric and I cant find another brand so I will baby it and only use it when I need metric.
