This must be how the Pros do it! This Kapro Set & Match 36″ scaled ruler makes hanging shelves, mirrors, and especially picture frames, fast and easy, with the results looking like you paid a Pro to do it. One horizontal and one vertical level vials easily slide the length of the ruler allowing for accurate measuring and marking.The inch markings (in 8th’s) are clear and easily readable. Mine came with an auto-locking handle for a sure grip that also slides the length of the ruler, and a sliding knife guide for perfect cuts.There are other accessories that can also be attached, like a laser Line Stud finder and a T-Square head. I am extremely pleased with ease of use of this hanging tool. Put 4 pictures up in my Dining Room perfectly matched. Very lightweight. I would highly recommend it.

It takes out all the hassle and hit or miss hanging all those family pictures you have “pictured” them. Sorry, wouldn’t resist. 🙂 It also makes mounting shelves, mirrors or whatever you want or to mount. To help in doing that it has two movable level vials, one foe vertical level and one for horizontal level. The scale is large enough for very easy reading. The bottom of the scale has a foam backing to prevent scratching. Another cool feature is the knife guide. The guide lets you cut a perfectly straight line on cardboard, sheet-rock, wood or anything else where you need a straight line. It also has a comfortable looking handle to help keep the ruler in place.

This is a nice straight edge with the potential for additional functionality (knife guide, attachable t square head, etc.).I ordered both the straight edge and the t square head. The openings on the t square head were not wide enough to accept the straight edge. Rendering the head useless and greatly reducing the utility of the straight edge for the reasons I bought both. Finally, I would prefer to have one side with metric rules and the other side imperial.

This is an excellent product with so many features all in one. The ruler with handle is the most used one since I was looking for such ruler were I can cut things on a smooth surface like glass without shaking my hand. The leveling feature helps in cutting or measuring the things with accuracy.

The Kapro tool is going to be one of those that I didn’t know how many uses it has until I find all of them. It has large clear printing for the markings and other images. The attachments are plastic but feel sturdy for the intended purposes.The website and instructions provided don’t really tell much about how to use the Kapro. The images printed on the metal ruler clearly show some of the options for use. The rest is up to your imagination. I used this for laying out a picture frame collage in the living room. Looks great with everything level and evenly spaced. Checked the level vials against a 2ft level and they are perfect.Tested the knife guide and it seems sturdy enough for light duty cutting. Don’t expect to put a large knife in the pocket. Anything from a small pencil knife to a standard utility knife will fit.The handle has a hole for a pencil so there is always one handy. The pencil is not included but any standard pencil will fit.

I need it for mostly art projects. I got this with the T-Square. Easy to figure out straight from the box. Super light weight. A cool feature is easy storage and travel – less space consumed. No chasing a level. Love the blade guides, more accuracy; flat or raised surface options make it nice – no wobbling. My ruler is newer, doesn’t have metric or the angle guides.

This is a unique straight edge in that it has extra features not normally found. The level vials will come in handy to hang a picture straight. They along with the handle can slide along the length for convenience. This will come in handy during use, making it easier to place the ruler on freshly painted walls.The knife cutting guide will be handy when cutting as it holds the knife tip in place.The extra holes will help you locate outlets and studs as well.

This is one of those tools you have always needed but did not realize someone made something like it. Think of all the double keyhole mounts you have tried to measure and drill in a wall only to have made a mistake or all of the pictures you have tried to hang and were unable to get the mounts perfectly set. This tool fixes those problems. You can easily set the two sliding level vials to line up to your keyholes or mount points then put the ruler on the wall, check for horizontal or vertical level and quickly mark the drill points. There is an integrated handle that can be moved to a comfortable location of your choosing on the ruler and locked in place by squeezing the handle. There is even a pencil holder on each side of the handle. There is also an attached cutting guide. Line up the ruler as needed, place your blade into the cutting guide and pull it quickly across the length of the ruler accurately cutting your work piece.
