The Kapro magnetic cast torpedo level features 3 acrylic shock-resistant vials to help provide easy horizontal, vertical and 45° readings with an accuracy of up to 0.0005 in. The plumb site technology allows you to read the vial from the front and helps prevent neck and back strain. The heavy-duty cast-aluminum frame provides durability and the compact size helps you access small spaces.

This level is great. It does everything the higher priced levels do at a much more reasonable price. The magnets are just the right power – strong enough to hold in place, but not so strong that it is difficult to remove. I also like how the horizontal sight can be viewed from the side or the top.

This may sound very weird but I actually really love this level. It is the perfect size for smaller jobs like checking a picture to ensure it is hung level, checking a wall mounted TV, Etc. Also, it has three bubbles to check on three different axises. The plumb site is very useful as it allows you to check walls, furniture and posts to ensure that they are plumb. The level is made out of metal so you don’t have to worry about it getting gouged or nicked and throwing off its ability to measure a level surface. Great level and I would definitely recommend it!

As a plumber, I use my torpedo level almost every day. I look for durability, accuracy, and ease of seeing the vials. So far I very happy with this level. I like the design of the vials because they are square and seem to be permanently and solidly affixed to the frame. The magnets are effective but there are levels out there that are stronger. After a couple drops it has kept accurate and the vials are large and easily read. The additional ability to read level from the side seems helpful. So far a good level.

The high level is easy to see I like the feature of putting the level for the pipe because I do a lot of gas work and it makes it easier to make sure that everything is level and straight which makes the job look better would recommend this to anybody that needs a level to be able to hold on the gas lines and make sure that the level level recommended to anyone that needs level

I was pleasantly surprised when I had an opportunity to use the level for the first time. I thought at first glance, that it was a bit short but upon using it for the first time I found it to be great. I really like the magnetic mount as it adds another dimension to an already useful tool. I also believe the sturdy construction and plumb site will give the level many years of use.

A short handy level is needed to stick on every person’s metal tool chest. Any diyer will need to do a quick level for many simple tasks like an off level picture. This is a well made 10 in. level with an aluminum frame. There are three spirit level vials to check levelness angles. I seem to use the top view more often. The bottom side magnet is plenty strong. This little ,yet functional, tool fits a pocket nicely when on a latter or other awkward place. The vial lens cover is a plastic material that seems too exposed to scratching.

This is my 2nd purchase of a Kapro level. These levels should be sold in stores as the quality and price are competitive with other higher quality levels. The Torpedo style 10in Kapro has two strong magnets on the bottom with 3 level sites. All sites are clear and easy to see. If you can wait for the item to be shipped I would order a Kapro vs. what’s available at the store.
