OPTIVISION creates the effect of strong color definition around the spirit level’s horizontal bubble, in stark contrast to the white vial background and clear liquid. The color contrast makes the bubble edges significantly easier to see, for fast and accurate placement between the vial’s reading lines. This cast level provides the professional masonry contractor and tiller the perfect tool for every job.
- OPTIVISION red horizontal vial creates highly visible red bubble edges, for exact reading and optimal vision in bright and low light
- Tilted horizontal vial with epoxy locking for direct line of sight viewing
- Vial gradient lines for measuring slopes up to 2 percent grade
- 3 unbreakable acrylic shockproof vials
- Accuracy less than 0.0005 in. per inch
- Angle finder with gradient markings every 5 degree to easily find the degree of any slope
- Rare-earth magnets for the strongest grip to any metal surface
- Fine milled surface with v-groove for accurate and easy placement on pipes and curved surfaces
- Advanced impact resistance end caps to protect the level’s integrity
- Proven durability drop tested from up to 2 meters

We run a 78 space rv park and I use these levels to help people level out their rvs so in the peak time Iam out in the in the park several times a day so having a level that is compact and accurate is of the most importance this one is easy to carry and light weight so it makes it one of my most used tools it has never failed me and levels have been spot on I would recommend this level to anyone

Perhaps the best toolbox torpedo level on the market! It is cast aluminum with reinforced ribs as well as rubber cushions on each end for protection. Machined on the working edge to insure a smooth level fit. It has two strong magnetic elements located on that surface to really grip and hold any surface that a magnet can hold. Painted white with red highlights where the glass leveling vials are located make is easy to see at a distance. The one vial that usually on fixed levels set at a 45* angle in this level is adjustable in 5* increments for times when unusual measurements are required, a unique feature. This level is built to last a lifetime!

I received my level in a timely manner and it is well built and easy to read. I like the ” glowing ” red vile and the angle finder. Would be willing to pay a couple bucks more to be made OTC, but these things take time. It’s a nice product and I would recommend.

This KAPRO 10″ level is far superior to any level I have ever owned. The three vials, encased in unbreakable acrylic, are called OPTIVISION. A red circle surrounds the liquid to make reading it easy whether close or far away from it. There’s an angle finder vial with gradient lines from 0 to 90 degrees for measuring slopes. The magnetic base is extremely strong and it has a V-groove milled into the base so it will adhere to pipes. It has wide impact resistant end caps for protection. And it comes with a Lifetime vial warranty. This is an especially valuable tool for finding angles easily, and for masonry work. I am really impressed with this level and highly recommend it.

I have been a pipe fitter for over 35 years and this is the most rugged level I have seen. The body is cast aluminum and the bottom is machined for accuracy. There are 2 magnets for working on steel pipe or structural steel on the bottom. This level has a red vial pocket to make seeing the vial easier, as well as a protective lens cover to keep the lines on the vial from rubbing off. The rubber end bumpers are there to protect the level when it gets dropped. The angle finder is good for a “ballpark” angle check.

This is the first time I have seen someone think about the user of a level and turn it into a really practical and useful tool. The first thing i noticed was the RED BUBBLE which makes very easy to see in virtually any light conditions which is the most important thing in the use of a level. Probably to me the next most important feature is the ANGLE FINDER feature which allows you to turn the left circle to either find the existing angle or to preset to an angle you may want to use. The other important features are the magnetic base and it very solid and rugged construction.

Initial viewing: This is a sturdy and well machined level, with an excellent baked on paint finish. The rubber bumpers are secured using nuts and bolts, meaning that they could be replaced. The vials are deep seated, behind acrylic panes and as a result are well protected.Inspection: It is a well machined piece, with a nice clean leveling plane and strong magnets seated in a clean straight groove, that sits securely on pipes. The magnets hold the level steady on any ferrous metal surface. Testing: For testing I placed the level on pipes and flat metal surfaces, checking the readings in the vials and then flipped the unit 180 degrees and made sure the readings were the same. They all passed the tests. I hung this vertically and horizontally upside down, it stayed in place without any difficulty. Summary:This is a well-made piece that performs perfectly, and has the durability to stay useful for a long time. The only thing “wrong” with this tool, is that you will probably lose it before you wear it out.

This Kapro Optivision level is pretty slick. It only weighs a pound but it feels more heavy duty and very sturdy unlike the typical torpedo level. It has 3 vials for top or side view. The magnet sits well on pipe or metal. It has a v-groove on the bottom so it sits easily on pipe and doesn’t fall off. It’s not the strongest magnet I’ve come across but it did hold when I placed it on an angle as seen in the picture. I gave it the 2 meter or 6 foot drop test. It fared well and maintained calibration. The white painted surface color along with red angle finders seems to make the vials easier to read. One of the angle finders also has gradient markings every 5 degrees so it’s pretty easy to find the degree of any slope if you need to. All in all it’s a very good tool to have.

Excellent product. This is a great small level and very handy. It is made in China, but well made. I always like having a small level nearby to check my work as I go and set up rough framing or for things not so critical. This level in particular has some weight to it unlike the plastic ones I’ve used previously and are out there. It is a solid block of aluminum, which is lighter than steel, but heavier than plastic and they didn’t skimp on the thickness of material. It is substantial. It has a magnet built in, which is great for vertical and underneath checking on metal (steel) surfaces plus a handy angle finder for sloped surfaces. They have also put a rubber shock absorber on the ends, which after dropping it a couple of times was nice to have to help cushion the fall and prevent damage. I really like this tool and will get years of use out of it.
