Work in comfort using the Pro Fit Wireless Vertical Trackball from Kensington. The wireless trackball stands at a 60° angle, designed to ensure ergonomic wrist, arm, and shoulder alignment to reduce strains. It can connect to up to three computers, one using the 2.4 GHz USB Type-A dongle that stows inside the trackball’s body and two via Bluetooth, allowing you to smoothly switch between devices. The nine programmable buttons, in addition to multiple scrolling and pointer settings, are customized using the KensingtonWorks software utility. You can also change between three dpi settings using a single switch to quickly adjust the sensor’s speed and sensitivity to different tasks. The right-handed trackball is rated to operate for up to 18-months using two AA batteries, and its 35mm trackball ejects at the push of a button for easy cleaning, helping to ensure that it remains responsive and accurate. This device works with both Windows and MacOS systems.

The best – in my opinion – is the Kensington Expert Mouse which has better precision and control. This one is better for travel since the ball does not fall out and it is more compact. Both provide additional buttons which can be customized to improve the workflow.

I felt immediate relief in my elbow & forearm after starting to use the trackball. Learning curve was very low. Also, got it a day sooner than B&H promised. 🙂

I had watched some YouTube videos about this mouse before I received my mouse. But, I’m glad that those YouTube videos were not really a very good predictor of my experience. I found this trackball to be easy and intuitive to use. My only issue was with using the software to configure the buttons on the device. The only thing that could make this better would be to have another wheel added for volume control.

The only better pointing device – in my opinion – is the Kensington Expert Wireless Trackball. This one is a bit less easy to control since it uses the thumb rather than the fingers, but it is great for portability. I especially like that the ball won’t fall out and that it can switch between two blue-tooth and one other wireless device.

I have a couple of Kensington Expert trackballs which have larger balls and are more precise, but the Pro Fit is smaller and works well.
