Not much to say, except worked perfectly and exactly as advertised.

I needed this cord in order to update a piece of locksmith equipment. It did the job and was cheaper then the other sites I looked at

I’ve purchased this product for more than a decade. The Keyspan USA-19HS has worked well for the Macintosh user base I support. I have little confidence in the Mac drivers from other brands. I like the Type B connector and separate cord design. This design is solid and a smaller connector wouldn’t hold up in the field. On that note- The original USB cord that Keyspan supplied was a thicker shielded type with clear outer jacket. A thinner black USB cord with less strain relief has been supplied with the currently shipping version from Tripplite. I still recommend this to other professionals without hesitation.

Plug it in, install the drivers and off you go.

On Windows XP with downloaded drivers I have great luck accessing several serial devices from my laptop. Still trying to get things working on Android/Linux. I see code for this device in the kernel source code for my Android phone (Samsung). When I connect I can see that the USB bus “sees’ the device. But there seems to be no tty device file created that allows me to access it. Rats!

Easy to set up. Easy to use.

I did not even have to install a driver, since Windows 7 already has the driver as part of the operating system. Works really well without any problems.

I use an adapter continuously to connect one program with another. A different adapter dropped the comm every other day. This one is rock solid.

I bought this USB to Serial adapter because I had some equipment that wasn’t working with the adapter that I owned previously. This adapter was very easy to set up and everything worked flawlessly and automatically. I have now tried it with all my serial devices and it works with them all. Thank you for a great product

We bought some of these over 1 year ago for IT use only (new laptops had no Serial ports). As time went on, some of the PC’s on our manufacturing floor needed to use a 2nd serial port so I installed my USB-Serial adapter and it worked great. These are used all day every day to receive data from scales and meters. I ended up installing all of the ones I bought and had to come back and buy more.
