Expand the capabilities of your laptop with the Kingston Nucleum 7-in-1 USB Type-C Hub with 4K HDMI. Connect this compact and portable hub to your laptop’s USB Type-C port to gain seven additional ports, including two USB Type-C (one power, one data), two USB Type-A, one HDMI v1.4, an SD card slot and a microSD card slot.
The Nucleum features power pass-through which allows you to charge devices through the hub, even your laptop. Connect your laptop’s AC adapter and a smartphone to the Nucleum and charge both simultaneously while you work. The hub can provide up to 60W of pass-through power.
If you want to take advantage of a larger monitor or nearby TV for movies, gaming, or to simply have a larger workspace, then plug in an HDMI v1.4 cable (available separately) to the Nucleum and enjoy support for resolutions up to 4K. The Nucleum also features dedicated SD and microSD card slots, which makes it fast and convenient to offload pictures and video from your digital camera.

I have been using the regular USB ports, the USB-C, and the USB-C Power Pass-Through ports on both computers and have not had any problems at all so far. I wanted an ethernet connection too, so I used my USB ethernet adapter along with this device and everything worked fine too. I did not try the HDMI out yet but otherwise I would say it works fine, seems to be of good quality, and I would recommend.

The Kingston Nucleum is a convenient mini-hub for computers with USB-C. It provides HDMI, USB-A, C and micro/SD slots – all in one convenient package. It’s small enough to go in a pocket or sleeve with my 13.4 2-in-1. It would have 5 stars if it were a little thinner.

This is a nice little hub. Tough to find ones that both a USB-C PD input as well as a USB-C data port. This one solves all of the needs I had. Works perfectly with my iPad Pro.

Can’t use more than one USB port and doesn’t charge my phone. When I plugged my phone to charge in one of the connected hard drives started to make clicking noises. I though it was fried, Thankfully it wasn’t but it only lets me use one connected hard drive and I bought it to be able to use 3
