With USB 3.1 connectivity, the 128GB DataTraveler microDuo 3C from Kingston supports data read speeds of up to 100 MB/s and data write speeds of up to 15 MB/s. This USB flash drive features two connectors, one standard USB and one USB Type-C connector. The Type-C connector measures just 8.4mm by 2.6mm and can be plugged in upside down eliminating the need to align the flash drive before plugging it in.
USB Type-C supports USB 3.1 connectivity with a maximum data transfer rate of up to 10 Gbps along with a power output of up to 20V (100W) and 5A. The USB Type-C port will make it easy to transfer data to and from a variety of devices such as smartphones and tablets. You can then transfer the stored data from the flash drive to a computer via the standard USB port. The DataTraveler even comes with an attached rotating cap to keep the connectors safe when on the go.

This is a great little (really little) thumb drive. It meets the advertised speeds. It gets warm, but not more than I would expect. I haven’t had the opportunity to use the USB-C side yet. Great for the price.

I was intrigued by this offering since it seems to be the only thing out there that has both USB A and USB C. The positives are: it does work with both interfaces. The negatives are that it’s not superfast, especially on USB A. Also, it’s actually so small you could easily lose it, though I suppose if you’re trying to hide it that could be good. I would recommend it to a friend, but with cautions.

This is a very convenient USB-C to USB Full connector. Quite small but seems well made, the USB-C end has a protective cover. Allows easy transfers between the two USB sizes. This replaced a poorly made San Disk item.

This USB really comes in handy when sharing large files with people who use different platforms, especially new vs. old macs. Super handy yet make sure to keep it in a safe place and/or hooked to a lanyard as it is very small and easy to lose!!

I bought this memory stick to download photos from my new Light L16. It works, but very slowly. It also gets very hot when connected to the camera.
