I typically use Sandisk thumb drives, but for a change I thought I would try another well-known brand. The 2 Kingston drives were on a Promo deal, so I picked them up at a good price. Both work fine and are certainly fast enough for what I use them for.

It does not meet the transfer speed. Well, I have an MSI 66 Raider, which has high transfer USB ports, but when I transfer a file to USB it does not exceed 60mb per second. I do NOT recommend them

Kingston Tech Support confirms their USB sticks are no longer supported as bootable media because of controller and solid state fabrication design changes.

Have several different USB drives, needed some LARGE ones for media files and bought the 5-pack of the 64Gig drives at a great price. Should be able to get all I need double-backed up with 4 of those chips. USB 3 speed is amazing!!

I really love it so much, I bought 4 of these. They are great, so I bought 4 for backup drives and i needed to also backup files in case I lost files I needed to download later and now I don’t have to. Having these save a HUGE amount of time if I have the files on backup flash Drives!

Hard to find thumb drives in white so I can label them with markers. The surface, unfortunately, doesn’t like markers too well and it’s hard to remove the ink once you write on it, even with alcohol or Lysol wipes. I suppose sticky labels would work better. In terms of performance, top write speeds are 40Mb/s which is a far cry from the advertised USB 3.2… Read speeds are faster. I bought these cheap as a two-pack so I’m not complaining much. I got them mostly for cold-storage so the speed is not a big issue for me. The business end has the key-ring but it’s all plastic construction. Personally I like the sliding style instead of a cap but each to their own.

The Kingston 12GB DataTraveler Exodia flash drive seems well made with reasonable transfer speeds. A convenient way to transfer data.

Kingston is a name I trust for reliability and performance. This product does not disappoint. Throughput is great and the price was very reasonable.

I do a lot of file transfers from cameras to external drives or laptop to PC. The flash drives are convenient and fast enough to make the process a little less tedious. I only wish they had the sliding non-removable covers. I have a tendency to lose the caps.
