I’ve been using this coffee maker for almost a month. It works great and I have had no issues with it. (This is my first Kitchen Aid coffeemaker, I’ve been using Cuisinart for a long time). It looks good, and I like the see through water holder. It is also very easy to fill up. I have only one issue with it. After it brews, and it stays warm for two hours, there is no way to keep the plate warm for another hour or so, unless I fill it up again, which I don’t want, I just want to keep my coffee warm for a little longer. Other than that small issue, we are very happy with it!

I like this coffee maker very much and it’s a vast improvement over other brands I’ve used. Programmable, as many are and has a cleaning cycle.The only issue I have with this is that the screws that secure the handle to the reservoir have somewhat rusted and stained the plastic. The screws are actually inside the top of the reservoir, so take heed. I’ll have to replace these with screws and washers that won’t rust. Aside from this, it does make a great cup of coffee and definitely meets my needs.

We were surprised at how much better the coffee tastes in this coffee maker compared to our previous coffee maker. Between the spiral showerhead and the cone-shaped filter, the coffee grounds release more flavour. The removable reservoir makes adding the water easier. And…the first coffee pot that doesn’t drip when pouring out that fresh cu[!

My husband and I switched from a Keurig to a real coffee maker and did EXTENSIVE research to find that This one was best! It was a good chunk of money (at the time, 6 months ago it was more expensive) but we decided all the good reviews and great features would make it worth it! I’ve done the regular cleaning and about 3 months in it started to lose about a cup of water between tank and carafe- it couldn’t all be steam?? So I did a descaler and it went back to normal for 3 days and back to losing a cup of water. So I did it again and this time it worked for 1 use, so I did it again and it no longer “gave back” any of the water from that one cup. So, we were still getting coffee, I just had to account for losing a whole cup. (Which isn’t a big deal, but it didn’t start out like that?) so today, as I was making my coffee I was getting LOADS of steam for 1 drip of coffee. I put 7 cups in the tank and only got 2 cups of coffee (after and excruciating hour). BUT I DO think I figured out whats wrong-I think the pause to pour feature is broken some how. It is losing the steam while it “waits” for the carafe and drips occasionally. I’ve made sure the little nozzle was pushed up and everything. ITS BROKEN. we’ve only had it for about 6 months, maybe less – and it’s already broken. To the point of being useless, I’m SUPER sad it’s broken, it was a GREAT coffee maker while it DID work.

I use less grounds to get a nice rich cup and it stays nice and hot. Easy clean up and the resuseable filter was a nice surprise.
