I like everything about it, except that he water runs through slowly and sits there, sometimes getting too full, especially with a paper filter. The gold filter sends too many fine grinds through.

Purchased a 1202OB coffeemaker 6 months ago, and everything was great. However, issues were encountered with the brewing cycle taking too long and shutting off prior to completion of full pot brewing. Used “Chat” tool to contact Kitchenaid/Whirlpool and through 30 minutes of discussions was able to provide original dated receipt to “Janice” who processed my replacement with the 1208OB unit. I love the way you fill it putting water directly in the reservoir, no dripping! However, my big disappointment is that you cannot keep it warm after two hours….there is no option. My husband gets up early and turns it on and when I get up it’s ready to turn off. Wish I had known this before I purchased.

After our third or fourth coffee pot bit the dust, we had to get another pronto as my husband will go through a large thermos each day at work. I decided on the KitchenAid since their products haven’t let me down. This coffee pot is amazing! I love all of the features: the clear tank so YOU SEE that the pot is prepped and don’t overfill; the filter inside which makes cleaning easier; it’s easy to set the timer…we love the coffee pot! Oh and the coffee tastes amazing using this pot! Strong but that’s easily remedied and my husband prefers strong anyhow.

I’ve been using this coffee maker for almost a month. It works great and I have had no issues with it. (This is my first Kitchen Aid coffeemaker, I’ve been using Cuisinart for a long time). It looks good, and I like the see through water holder. It is also very easy to fill up. I have only one issue with it. After it brews, and it stays warm for two hours, there is no way to keep the plate warm for another hour or so, unless I fill it up again, which I don’t want, I just want to keep my coffee warm for a little longer. Other than that small issue, we are very happy with it!

The best feature is the way it pours, no more dribbles on the counter & no more pouring over the sink . Another great feature is being able to see how many minutes left before the warming tray shuts off. The removable watertank allows you to fill at the sink and besides the great features it also looks attractive on the counter .Almost forgot the signal when coffee is ready, good idea.

I bought this kitchen aid coffee maker to replace a bunn that I returned. This is the best coffeemaker I have ever owned! It makes a hot cup of coffee. You can adjust the strength to bold. The only thing is its little slow but I guess that’s why coffee is good and strong. Not warm water. Love this coffee maker and recommend to anyone. It was even cheaper than the Bunn I returned.
